“A tribute to purity”

- Pure Nature Plank, Proteco Natura – Tarkett

The Pure collection is Tarkett's tribute to natural wood, with unprocessed patterns that nature itself has created. Here traceability, durability and functionality are promoted ahead of short-term trends. Tarkett's wood flooring consists of 97% renewable raw material in the form of wood. The material for the middle layer and the back is spruce and pine, which are mainly sourced from Swedish and Finnish forests where forestry is managed sustainably with greater forest growth than the amount of forest harvested. The wood raw material for the durable surface layer is typically oak from European forests.
All surface treatments are completely free of solvents and the wooden flooring is handled with gentle and dry cleaning methods without strong cleaning chemicals.
Tarkett's wooden flooring lasts for a long time and as they age, they can be renovated, sanded, lacquered or oiled to give them new life. Disposed wooden flooring can be sent to a waste incinerator to recover its energy content. The journey has also now begun towards alternative ways to re-use raw materials from old wooden flooring in new product development projects – which will be shown in Tarkett's Natural Bond exhibition at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.
